My approach is based primarily in Internal Family Systems and Nonviolent Communication. My work is also informed by elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Relationship Enhancement Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy, and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy.
